Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a vibrant learning space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.</li><li>Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional development.</li><li>Manage daily classroom activities to ensure a structured yet flexible environment conducive to learning and play.</li><li>Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions and respect among children.</li><li>Assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing where appropriate, and ongoing evaluations; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and participate in team meetings to share best practices.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's development, milestones, and classroom events through regular updates and conferences.</li><li>Support children with special needs or those requiring early intervention by coordinating with specialists and integrating inclusive practices into daily routines.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and other documentation required for compliance and program quality assurance.</li><li>Ensure the safety and welfare of all children by adhering to childcare regulations, health protocols, and safety procedures at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in educational or childcare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.</li><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, literacy education, math instruction, and early intervention strategies.</li><li>Familiarity with curriculum development methods including Montessori approaches is highly desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners.</li><li>Experience working with children who have special needs or require additional support is preferred.</li><li>Certification in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in special education or toddler care is a plus.</li><li>Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing classroom routines efficiently.</li><li>Knowledge of childcare regulations, health standards, and child welfare practices applicable in licensed early childhood programs.
