Job Summary Join our team as a Grounds Extra Help and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors across various landscaping and groundskeeping projects. You will assist with a wide range of tasks that keep our grounds pristine, safe, and inviting for everyone. Whether you're passionate about gardening, landscape maintenance, or operating equipment, this role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us create welcoming outdoor spaces that inspire and delight.Duties<ul><li>Assist with lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure well-manicured grounds</li><li>Support landscape maintenance including planting, mulching, pruning, and weed control</li><li>Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks</li><li>Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns</li><li>Support general grounds maintenance tasks such as cleaning pathways, repairing hardscape features, and preparing sites for planting or construction projects</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools</li><li>Experience or interest in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture preferred</li><li>Ability to operate equipment such as lawnmowers, skid loaders, tractors is a plus</li><li>Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and construction projects</li><li>Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions</li><li>Able to work ~37.5 hrs./week (Monday-Friday), with some nights/weekends/holidays as scheduled</li><li>Have a valid driver license and provide own transportation to work site</li></ul>This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in groundskeeping, landscaping, or construction-related fields.
