<div>Job Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse lead, perform warehouse functions to assure the correct and efficient flow of inventory for both incoming and outgoing shipments. 
 
Key Departmental Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Receive shipments from vendors and customer parts returns. Verify correct part numbers and quantities shipped. Unpack and stock parts in correct bin locations.</li>
<li>Pick parts for customer orders assuring correct item number and quantity; package orders for customers in a manner that will minimize damage during shipment; process orders using the delivery method required. Ensure this process takes place in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Pick parts for technicians in the DSC and FIE departments assuring correct item number and quantity. Maintain clear and accurate records of service departments&rsquo; part usage.</li>
<li>Organize part returns for shipment back to vendors.</li>
<li>Aid Warehouse Manager with daily inventories when required; maintain stock bins by assuring proper sizing, labeling and condition.</li>
<li>Aid Warehouse Manager in securing warehouse contents against loss.</li>
<li>Ensure personal safety and the safety of others by following OSHA mandated requirements; inform Warehouse Manager any dangerous behaviors in the workplace.</li>
<li>Operate in conformance with the requirements of the Diesel Forward quality management system.</li>
<li>Assist other employees both in and out of the department.</li>
<li>Provide feedback on system needs/changes.</li>
<li>Perform other related duties and assignments as required.</li>
</ul>
Skills &amp; Qualifications

<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Forklift operator certification (training provided on-site if needed).</li>

<li>Regular attendance is an essential requirement.</li>
<li>Must have ability to lift up to fifty pounds on a regular basis and up to one hundred pounds occasionally.</li>

Compensation

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $21.00-$23.00 hourly. Placement within the range will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing the warranty claims process and communicating with customers, vendors, production team, and management on these warranty claims. Once trained, the Warranty Engineer is expected to maintain a working knowledge of Alliant Power products.

Key Departmental Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all warranty inquiries, technical questions, and warranty claims ensuring timely and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Lead and manage the end-to-end warranty claims process through resolution, including coordination of return shipments and completion of root cause evaluations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient closure of all claims.</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance to customers, including diagnostic support to prevent non-warrantable claims.</li>
<li>Maintain the warranty website/portal, including documenting process steps and assisting customers with portal usage.</li>
<li>Collaborate with production/warranty technician to prioritize and ensure proper teardown and analysis of returned warranty engines.</li>
<li>Gather, analyze, and interpret internal and external data to identify trends, exposure, root causes, and corrective actions; support early detection of systemic issues using methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and FMEA.</li>
<li>Analyze and maintain warranty claim data, documentation, teardown records, and root cause evaluations; ensuring accurate reporting and clear communication of findings to production and management teams.</li>
<li>Identify and recommend process improvements based on warranty data and performance trends, contributing to measurable reductions in warranty costs, failure rates, and repeat issues.</li>
<li>Coordinate parts vendor returns and collaborates with suppliers on returns, warranty rates, and associated claim costs, supporting recovery of expenses and supplier accountability.</li>
<li>Operate in compliance with the Alliant Power Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring adherence to established procedures and continuous improvement standards.</li>
<li>Must work cross functionally, interacting often with Finance, Customer Service, Sales and other departments to support warranty operations and enhance overall process efficiency.</li>
<li>Provide input on system needs, enhancements, and process updates.</li>
<li>Support team members across departments and perform additional duties and projects as assigned.</li>

Skills &amp; Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/automotive engineering OR equivalent technical/hands-on industry experience. Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in technical warranty administration, failure analysis, or customer-facing roles within the engine/heavy machinery industry. Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing standards. Must be an opportunity and solution-oriented, self-confident, flexible, and an analyst who can translate data into information. Possess the ability to solve problems, make informed decisions quickly and independently, and be able to suggest and guide process improvements. Well organized with a professional manner. Candidates must possess strong initiative and proven willingness to assume ownership for areas of responsibility. Strong interpersonal communication skills are a must.

Compensation

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. Placement within the range will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
