Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Your energy and enthusiasm will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, fostering a warm and supportive environment where they can thrive.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity</li><li>Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, mental status, and physical condition; report changes promptly to healthcare professionals</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary</li><li>Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Support mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; assist with walking or repositioning to prevent falls or bedsores</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed</li><li>Document care plans, patient progress, and observations meticulously to ensure seamless communication within the care team</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or long-term care</li><li>Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance</li><li>Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, memory care, autism spectrum disorder support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; strong physical stamina required</li><li>Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams</li><li>Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly preferred; prior experience in hospice or home &amp; community care is advantageous</li><li>Compassionate attitude combined with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve clients&rsquo; quality of life</li></ul>Join our team as a Caregiver if you&rsquo;re passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
