Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, mental status, and physical condition; report changes promptly to healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; assist with walking or repositioning to prevent falls or bedsores
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
- Document care plans, patient progress, and observations meticulously to ensure seamless communication within the care team
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or long-term care
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, autism spectrum disorder support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; strong physical stamina required
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly preferred; prior experience in hospice or home & community care is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude combined with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life

Pay: $18.00 - $28.43 per hour
