POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant to the Directors provides administrative and operational support to the studio&rsquo;s three directors across departments including Design, Operations, and Business Development. This is an entry-level, hybrid role best suited to someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. The right candidate will be a dependable, service-oriented professional who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.REPORTING STRUCTUREDay-to-Day Direction:Receives direction from the Director of Client Experience &amp; Strategic Growth and the Director of Operations &amp; Culture depending on daily priorities.Broader Accountability:Supports the Principal as needed and may receive occasional direction directly from her on studio or client-related priorities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDirector &amp; Schedule Support<ul><li>Manage and coordinate calendars for the directors, including scheduling meetings, calls, and client appointments</li><li>Monitor and triage director inboxes as directed; flag priorities, draft responses, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks</li><li>Prepare daily or weekly priority summaries for each director to support focus and follow-through</li><li>Track open tasks and follow-up items in Asana; flag items at risk of missing deadlines</li><li>Assist with preparing agendas and materials for internal meetings</li></ul>Client Meeting Preparation<ul><li>Set up and prepare the studio ahead of client meetings, including arranging sample trays, materials, and hospitality</li><li>Ensure the studio is tidy, stocked, and presented to a professional standard at all times</li><li>Assist with printing, binding, or assembling presentation materials as directed</li><li>Support client-facing logistics including greeting clients and managing arrival timing</li></ul>Errands &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Run studio errands as needed, including supply runs, sample pick-ups and returns, and vendor drop-offs</li><li>Receive and process incoming mail and packages; notify the appropriate team member upon arrival</li><li>Assist with sample library organization, including filing, labeling, and returning memo samples to vendors</li></ul>Studio Operations Support<ul><li>Maintain office supplies and place orders when inventory is low</li><li>Assist with filing, document organization, and maintaining studio systems</li><li>Assist with ad hoc operational and administrative tasks across departments as needed</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate&rsquo;s or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of administrative, office, or operations experience preferred</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) and comfort learning new tools</li><li>Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana a plus</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and proactive; able to anticipate needs and work with minimal supervision</li><li>Comfortable running errands and moving between studio and off-site locations</li><li>Professional presentation and demeanor; represents the studio well in all settings</li></ul>IMPORTANT NOTEWhilst an interest in design is appreciated this is an operations role, there is no pathway from this position into a design role.Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Seattle, WA 98134
