Role and ResponsibilitiesThe server - waiter/waitress position is vital for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers. This role plays a significant role in upholding top-notch customer service standards. We require candidates with excellent communication skills who can excel in the fast-paced restaurant environment. A bachelor's degree in hotel management or a high school diploma along with another diploma is a requirement, and candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience. We're actively seeking dedicated professionals who can help enhance our guests' dining experiences.In addition to your education and experience, a strong commitment to excellent customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a bustling restaurant setting are prerequisites for this role. Joining our team allows you to actively contribute to ensuring our guests have a fantastic dining experience while also supporting our mission of providing exceptional food and service.Responsibilities&middot; Warmly greet and escort customers to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.&middot; Present menus and provide detailed information, including portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.&middot; Prepare tables meticulously, setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.&middot; Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations upon request.&middot; Skillfully upsell additional products when appropriate.&middot; Take precise food and drink orders using a HACCP ordering software, order slips, or memorization.&middot; Verify customers' ids to ensure compliance with age requirements for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.&middot; Efficiently communicate order details to the kitchen staff.&middot; Serve food and drink orders with professionalism and timeliness.&middot; Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, promptly reporting any issues.&middot; Maintain table settings and ensure a spotless dining area.&middot; Accurately deliver checks and collect bill payments.&middot; Carefully transport dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.&middot; Collaborate with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations, including parties.&middot; Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.&middot; Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing any guest concerns.&middot; Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take proactive steps to correct any issues.Preferred Skills&middot; Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress.&middot; Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering information systems&middot; Attentiveness and patience in dealing with customers.&middot; Exceptional presentation skills.&middot; Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excelling in a fast-paced environment.&middot; Active listening and effective communication skills.&middot; Team-oriented with flexibility to work in shifts.&middot; High school diploma: food safety training is a plus.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>server: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English and Arabic (Required)</li></ul>
