Alternative Nursing Services is now hiring caregivers in Boise, and we would love to speak with you!We have a client in East Boise with 24 hours per week, looking for 3-4 hour shifts per day.Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Home Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living and home community care, with a strong focus on enhancing the quality of life for clients. This role requires a commitment to delivering personalized care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those we serve.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.</li><li>Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' social well-being.</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate medical documentation.</li><li>Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans.</li><li>Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.</li><li>Document any changes in clients' conditions or needs and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.</li><li>Provide specialized care for individuals with memory care needs or disabilities as required.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in assisted living, home health, or community care is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical documentation practices is essential.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory care challenges is a plus.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.</li><li>Ability to follow care plans accurately while being adaptable to changing client needs.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining medical records.</li><li>A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.</li><li>Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory.</li></ul>Join our team as a Home Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve!Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
