Caregiver/Personal Assistant

We have a client in East Boise with 24 hours per week, looking for 3-4 hour shifts per day.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Home Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living and home community care, with a strong focus on enhancing the quality of life for clients. This role requires a commitment to delivering personalized care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' social well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
• Document any changes in clients' conditions or needs and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with memory care needs or disabilities as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living, home health, or community care is preferred.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical documentation practices is essential.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory care challenges is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Ability to follow care plans accurately while being adaptable to changing client needs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining medical records.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory.
