Job Description:The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer (.NET / ASP.NET Core) role will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying and maintaining robust web applications using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core framework, working within an Agile team to gather requirements, write clean and efficient code, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline delivery. They must collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, update and refactor existing systems, adhere to SOLID principles and architectural best-practices, and be available for occasional after-hours support for critical production issues. Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), micro-services, legacy .NET codebases, source control (Git) and strong communication skills are also required.Shift Time: 3pm-12amLocation: AbbottabadRESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Assisting the Development Manager with Development and improvement of software modules</li><li>Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs</li><li>Testing and evaluating new programs</li><li>Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications</li><li>Writing and implementing efficient code</li><li>Determining operational practicality</li><li>Developing quality assurance procedures</li><li>Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics</li><li>Maintaining and upgrading existing systems</li><li>Training users</li><li>Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts</li><li>Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing systems</li><li>Maintaining and improving the performance of existing software</li><li>Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.</li><li>Clearly and regularly communicating with management and technical support colleagues</li><li>Conducting development tests</li><li>Documenting and maintaining software functionality</li><li>Working on any task assigned by the manager</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>BS or MS CS/ IT/ SE</li><li>4 - 8 years of relevant work experience</li><li>Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework / .NET Core ecosystem.</li><li>Strong knowledge of ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, MVC/Web API architecture.</li><li>Database skills: SQL Server / T-SQL, Entity Framework (or ORM), data modelling.</li><li>Source control &amp; CI/CD: Git, Azure DevOps or similar pipelines.</li><li>Testing &amp; debugging: Unit tests, integration tests, ability to troubleshoot and optimize code.</li><li>Proven Experience in Agile scrum methodology</li><li>Strong knowledge of C# programming language.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MVC/ Web Forms/ .net Core and WebApi.</li><li>Strong knowledge of SQL</li><li>Design and update software database</li><li>Strong knowledge of Angular and jQuery</li><li>Strong knowledge of Agile</li><li>Strong knowledge of TFS/ SVN</li><li>Strong knowledge of JIRA</li><li>Strong knowledge of Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems</li><li>Skill to architect new project</li><li>Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Good presentation skills</li></ul>Benefits:Market-Leading Salary, Medical insurance, Provident fund, EOBI, Paid Leaves, cash advance, Employee Performance based bonuses, Annual increments, Allowances ( Accommodation, OPD, Travel, Night, utilities, Technical ), Parental Leaves, Annual dinners &amp; tripsNote: Preference will be given to candidates from Hazara Division, KPK for this specific role.
