Job Summary AM Smith Law Firm is a dynamic and growing law firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. We specialize in personal injury and healthcare law,representing clients in a wide range of complex cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic record, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and a passion foradvocating for our clients.Responsibilities:* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, including case law, statutes, and regulations.* Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.* Conduct client interviews, gather evidence, and prepare cases for trial.* Manage a diverse caseload, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.* Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.* Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and the court.* Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management.* Stay informed on current legal developments in personal injury and healthcare law.* Participate in business development activities as needed.* Mentor junior associates or paralegals.Qualifications:* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.* Admission to the Georgia Bar.* 3 years of experience in personal injury and healthcare law.* Strong understanding of personal injury litigation, including negligence, medical malpractice, and product liability.* Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.* Superior communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines effectively.* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.* Experience with legal case management software MyCase.* Experience with medical record review* Bilingual skills in Spanish required.Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearWork Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30339
