Whether working in assisted living facilities, home care environments, or community settings, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality care that enhances quality of life for those you serve.Duties<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; health status by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report changes to healthcare professionals</li><li>Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance to ensure patient confidentiality</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary</li><li>Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely move residents with limited mobility</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning routines and adherence to infection control standards</li><li>Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress to update care plans and ensure personalized support</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately</li><li>Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, autism support, or hospice care is advantageous</li><li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support is desirable</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically assist residents using equipment like Hoyer lifts safely</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, residents, and families</li><li>Commitment to maintaining HIPAA standards and respecting client confidentiality at all times</li></ul>Join us in providing compassionate caregiving that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
