As the Sr. SAP MES Functional Lead, you will manage the design, development and implementation of SAP MES/MII projects and new functionalities connected to Kuiper Enterprise Systems (ERP - S4 HANA) that allow for the rapid development and production of Space Hardware. The implementation of these systems are critical to scalability and cost effective business operations. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, start-up like environment. You will collaborate with business customers, companion system functional owners, solution architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and dependable systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Develop Business requirements documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS) and review test documentation. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner. Key job responsibilities - Build MES solutions and handle all the deployment related activities. Build reports and deploy. Integration with ERP and Shop Floor Systems. - Active participation in Requirements gathering, Functional Specifications, High Level Documentation, Integration Test, User Acceptance Test and MES startup to ensure success and meet customer requirements. - Ensure that the deployed applications perform as per customer expectations and there are no performance issues - Building Proof of Concepts (POCs) using SAP ME and SAP MII as the service based on the business requirements - Lead the solution design and develop SAP MII applications to populate real and historical data extracting information from data sources SAP S/4 HANA and shop floor systems (MII, Historian, etc.) for reporting and analysis. - Support improvement for areas including SAP PP-PI, QM, MM, PM, PCo, and Scheduling. - Develop requirements and Functional Specs for web applications using SAP MII, PCo, Kepware, and SAP S/4 HANA - Develop Printing labels, Travelers documents, and purchase order receipt label, process order receipts, and shop floor forms in MII system. - Support various testing procedures (Unit testing, Integration testing, class room testing, shop floor testing, automated test scripts). A day in the life You will conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and improvements. Collaborate with functional owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Review program codes and correct MII program errors. Maintain and update existing program codes as needed. Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned project. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner. About the team Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Our team focuses on building Enterprise System Applications for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations and the Supply Chain teams at Kuiper. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Kuiper Productivity Engineering (KPE) is seeking an experienced IT Application Engineer who will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Jama Requirements Management platform. This role will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and strategic development of our Jama implementation while supporting enterprise-wide requirements management processes. Key job responsibilities - Lead the technical administration and architecture of Jama Requirements Management platform - Provide expert-level support and consultation for Jama implementations across multiple business units - Design and implement integration solutions between Jama and other enterprise systems - Develop and maintain best practices for requirements management processes - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for Jama-related initiatives A day in the life In this role, you will function as the primary administrator and SME for Kuiper's Jama service.
