OPPORTUNITY America West Properties, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time, experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to process invoices, manage utility accounts, and oversee vendor payments.Candidates will have the opportunity to work for a well-established commercial real estate company that manages over four million square feet of office, industrial, and retail assets. America West Properties, Inc. offers a competitive salary, quarterly bonus potential, accrued vacation time, as well as employee medical, dental, and vision insurance.Responsibilities<ul><li>Daily review and organization of mailed-in and electronic invoices</li><li>Managing workflow through Yardi for 100-150 invoices each day</li><li>Inspect invoices to ensure accuracy and payments are made on time</li><li>Maintain vendor and utility relationships weekly</li><li>Address any inquiries or discrepancies in invoicing</li><li>Process checks and online electronic payments for all approved invoices</li><li>Establish and facilitate online electronic (ACH) payments for utility accounts</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Full-time in-office position in Lake Forest, California</li><li>A minimum of five years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, with a strong track record of processing a high volume of invoices</li><li>Preferred experience in utilizing the Yardi software platform for processing payables</li><li>A strong attention to detail and high level of organization in daily responsibilities</li><li>The ability to collaborate with a team of Accountants and Property Management staff</li><li>Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>TIMING<ul><li>Immediate</li></ul>SALARY<ul><li>$65,000 to $75,000 range depending upon work experience and knowledge of the software and industry protocols</li></ul>Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
