Job SummaryThe Procurement Specialist will be the link between incoming customer orders and supplier fulfillment. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for placing and tracking orders quickly, choosing the best supplier options for margin and speed, and keeping customers and internal teams updated. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and ideal for someone who can manage many tasks at once in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders promptly and ensure accurate placement with suppliers.</li><li>Margin &amp; Speed Optimization: Evaluate supplier options to maximize margin and minimize delivery times.</li><li>Supplier Coordination: Communicate daily with vendors to confirm stock, lead times, and shipping details.</li><li>Customer Support: Provide updates to sales and customers on order status, delivery timing, and any changes.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate records of POs, invoices, and delivery confirmations.</li><li>Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines at the same time without losing attention to detail.</li><li>Startup Flexibility: Adapt to evolving processes, take initiative, and contribute ideas for efficiency and growth.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2&ndash;3+ years in procurement, logistics, or order management (solar or related industries preferred).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Comfortable communicating with both customers and suppliers.</li><li>Analytical mindset to compare pricing, shipping options, and margins.</li><li>Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up culture where priorities shift quickly.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workflow tools (e.g., Monday.com).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
