Overhead Door TechnicianJob summary<ul><li>Install and service commercial, residential overhead and rolling steel doors.</li><li>Install and service high speed, temperature control, fabric, security gates, counter doors and dock equipment.</li><li>Will install and test fire rated doors.</li><li>Install all electric openers needed for the above listed doors</li></ul>Summary of essential job functions<ul><li>Install and services all product we sale.</li><li>Drive, inspect daily and stock assigned company truck.</li><li>Operate forklifts and other lift equipment.</li><li>Use assorted tools necessary for performing this job.</li><li>Use of ladder for a majority of the job function</li></ul>Minimum requirements<ul><li>Must have own personal hand tools and accessories needed to perform the job</li><li>Must agree to company dress and personal appearance policy (i.e. long pants and boots) year round</li><li>Working heights up to 20 feet</li><li>Must be able to be on your feet for at least 7 hours a day</li><li>Able to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently</li><li>Be Forklift Certified or attain it while employed</li><li>Pass drug test and be subject to company&rsquo;s drug testing policy</li><li>Must have an acceptable driving record (pre-approve by our insurance before job offer)</li></ul>Preferred experience<ul><li>Previous installing of doors</li><li>Construction, metal fabrication and electrical a plus</li></ul>$20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Overtime</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Garage Door: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
