Annuity Help Desk Analyst (Business Analyst I)
 
We are seeking an Annuity Help Desk Analyst to support annuity operations and business users by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing ad hoc audits. This role blends customer support, business analysis, and basic system testing to help Annuity Operations to run as efficiently as possible. Knowledge of annuity processing is a plus.
 
This position is available on site in League City, TX.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Serve as the first point of contact for annuity system and process questions; triage, troubleshoot, and resolve help desk tickets within established service levels.</li>
<li>Partner with annuity operations, Agile Release Trains, and other stakeholders to understand issues, clarify requirements, and drive solutions.</li>
<li>Document problems clearly (steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, impacted users/processes) and communicate status updates to requestors.</li>
<li>Provide user support including training, job aids, and knowledge base updates; identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.</li>
<li>Maintain effective working knowledge of annuity products, administrative processes, and upstream/downstream impacts (e.g., Marketing, Actuarial, Controllers).</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree (or relevant equivalent experience).</li>
<li>2–4 years of relevant experience in a help desk, Annuity operations support, business analysis, insurance/financial services, or related environment.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users; strong customer service and follow-through.</li>
<li>Ability to learn and apply knowledge of annuity processes, data structures, and system workflows.</li>
<li>Comfort working independently with general direction on new assignments; able to manage multiple priorities.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Fundamental knowledge of annuity products, principles, and practices.</li>
<li>Experience supporting policy administration systems and/or rules-based configuration tables.</li>
<li>Familiarity with reporting and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and comfort validating data and report outputs.</li>
<li>Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system.</li>
<li>Experience writing job aids, FAQs, or knowledge base articles.</li>

Annuity Business Systems - Business Analyst I

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master or ability to consider Scrum Master - Level, II applicants (In review of candidate qualifications)
 Onsite, Home Office Location: League City, Texas
 Who You Will Report To: Assistant Vice President, Scrum Delivery Practice
 
The Scrum Master leads teams and individuals in adopting agile practices and methods while embedding agile values and attitudes. You will seek to apply agile best practices to produce high-quality, repeatable work, including managing timelines, resolving problems, leading team ceremonies, and coaching team members on agile principles. You will also support an environment for self-organizing and collaborative teams to be fully productive during sprints.
 
What You’ll Do: 
<ul>
<li>Educate teams on agile principles and values; assure teams adhere to an agile framework</li>
<li>Organize sprint ceremonies including daily standups, story refinement, sprint retrospectives, etc.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate with others to exchange information</li>
<li>Lead others through process improvements as a change agent and/or coach agile/scrum teams to continually improve through retrospectives</li>
<li>Assist in creating an attitude of self-management and product mindset/ownership on the teams</li>
<li>Create transparency and collaboration by assisting teams in organizing their work, backlog, and metrics</li>
<li>Set the precedence for positive team dynamics by facilitating internal team communication, problem solving, and relationship building</li>
<li>Facilitate, coach teams, and enable enterprise-wide agile transformation</li>
</ul>
What We Are Looking For: 
<ul>
<li>Experience with IT solution delivery preferred</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as complex problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (kanban, scrum, SaFe)</li>
<li>Impressive Knowledge of scrum techniques and artifacts such as user stories, backlogs, definition of done, story refinement, unit and regression testing, and cross-team dependencies</li>
<li>Experience in implementing large-scale custom development and/or systems integration projects in one or more phases of the SDLC</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading scrum teams and a change management focused approach to enabling agile transformation</li>
<li>Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization</li>
<li>Support the team in using agile planning and development tools (Azure DevOps, Miro)</li>
<li>Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions</li>
<li>Anticipate client needs and develop potential solutions; adapt quickly to business changes</li>
