American National is seeking a Training Specialist to support Annuity Administration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others learn, can explain complex information in a clear and approachable way, and has a strong foundation in annuity administration, new business, post-issue processes, or both.

As a Training Specialist, you will help new and existing team members build confidence in their roles by facilitating training, creating reference materials, and supporting consistent understanding of systems, procedures, and best practices. The individual selected will support virtual training and full-day classroom-style sessions, production practice, and ongoing learning resources.

What You’ll Do
  • Facilitate training for new hires and existing employees across annuity administration functions
  • Support training related to new business, post-issue, disbursements, withdrawals, surrenders, and related annuity processes
  • Help employees understand and navigate key systems, including PolicyLink, Insight, BPM, and other related tools
  • Create, update, and maintain reference documents, job aids, and training resources
  • Partner with leaders and team members to reinforce procedures, answer questions, and support continued learning
  • Adapt training delivery based on audience needs, learning styles, and department priorities
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback in a clear, professional, and supportive manner
  • Continue learning across multiple areas of annuity administration to support cross-training needs
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of annuity administration processes, including new business, post-issue, disbursements, withdrawals, or surrenders
  • Confidence using or learning systems such as PolicyLink, Insight, BPM, SharePoint, RPS, SAP, or similar tools
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Comfort speaking in front of groups and facilitating training from beginning to end
  • Strong critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain information in different ways based on how others learn
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn content outside of your current area of expertise
  • Positive, professional approach with the ability to connect with and support others
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience training, coaching, mentoring, or serving as a go-to resource for others
  • Experience creating or updating training materials, process documents, job aids, or reference guides
  • Background in annuity administration, life insurance, financial services, or a service center environment
  • Experience supporting both new business and post-issue functions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
Schedule and Work Environment
This position is located onsite in League City, Texas at Marina One. The role generally follows core business hours and does not require regular travel. Training may include full-day sessions, virtual learning, production practice, and ongoing support after formal training concludes.

Job titles may span multiple career levels. Base pay is determined by a variety of factors, including training, transferable skills, relevant experience, business needs, and market conditions. Compensation is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
