Summary
The Receiving Inspector / Parts Clerk is responsible for supplying our mechanics with their parts and tool needs, and maintaining records associated with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and real-time system updates to ensure inventory integrity above performance targets.</li><li>
Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and documentation.</li><li>
Organize and optimize warehouse storage locations for efficiency, ensuring proper labeling, rotation (FIFO), and accessibility of all items.</li><li>
Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies, improve inventory processes, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations</li><li>
Responsible for the disposition of approved parts</li><li>
Responsible for the disposition of tool calibrations</li><li>
Assists with physical inventories</li><li>
Aids with shipping/receiving paperwork and systems input</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor</li></ul>

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED; 3&ndash;12 months of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or similar roles preferred (aviation experience not required)</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret documents such as P.O.s, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.</li><li>
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new computer programs.</li><li>
Basic data entry skills required.</li><li>
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship</li><li>
Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check</li><li>
May be required to operate company provided vehicles. Must have a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and meet all company insurance criteria</li></ul>

This role supports line and/or base maintenance operations in a fast-paced aviation environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on aircraft and aircraft components Acts as the first point of escalation for technical issues within the team.
