<div>HBI Amerilab Technologies is a growing and leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mixer to join our team. 
 
Schedule: 
Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 4:20 pm to 2:50 am 
 
To weigh and combine ingredients, in accordance with batch record instructions, in mixer and blend for a final product. 
 
Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>
Accurately complete batch records and logbooks used for blending and cleans (dry/full) and all equipment used in the process.</li><li>
Proper operation of all blenders, plus associated accessories.</li><li>
Proper use of scales and checking/charging walk behind lifts daily.</li><li>
Verifying items staged are correct.</li><li>
Pre-weighing/blending lots correctly and in a timely manner along with correctly labeling all items.</li><li>
Move drums and totes of finished product to proper location.</li><li>
Observe product and machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction during production run. Call maintenance with any concerns about equipment issues.</li><li>
Resolve minor problems that may arise with the mixing operation.</li><li>
Comply with all company safety, GMP's, SOP's and lockout/tag out rules. Report any safety issues or concerns.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area to 5S Standards.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.
</li><li>Ability to operate a forklift, as required.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.</li><li>
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.</li><li>

Qualifications: 
Education / Experience / Certifications:
<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>
One (1) year related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Small company (&lt;500) experience a plus</li><li>
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.</li></ul> 

Skills Required:
<ul><li>
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.</li><li>
Moderate mechanical aptitude.</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and superiors.</li><li>
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.</li><li>
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out interactions furnished in written or oral form.</li><li>
Ability to define problems and establish facts.</li><li>
Attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to work independently.</li><li>
Ability to manage time when deadlines need to be met.</li><li>
Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery.</li></ul>
