We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer with strong experience in SEO, digital marketing, and client communication.This position plays a key role in supporting BBA member businesses by creating modern, high-performing websites and optimizing their online presence for maximum visibility and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Development &amp; Design<ul><li>Build responsive, user-friendly websites for small business clients using WordPress (primary), along with other platforms as needed.</li><li>Customize themes, layouts, and page designs to meet client branding and functional needs.</li><li>Implement on-page SEO best practices during the development process.</li><li>Maintain, update, and improve existing client websites.</li></ul>SEO &amp; Digital Marketing Support<ul><li>Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits for client websites.</li><li>Optimize site structure, speed, metadata, internal links, and content for improved rankings.</li><li>Coordinate with BBA&rsquo;s marketing and content teams to implement SEO-driven strategies.</li><li>Track and report on website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.</li></ul>Client Communication &amp; Project Coordination<ul><li>Communicate directly with BBA clients to understand their business needs, goals, and vision for their website.</li><li>Translate client objectives into clear development plans and deliverables.</li><li>Provide professional recommendations on web design, SEO improvements, and marketing strategy.</li><li>Manage project timelines, client updates, and revisions to ensure timely delivery.</li></ul>Technical &amp; Administrative Duties<ul><li>Troubleshoot issues related to hosting, domains, plugins, and compatibility.</li><li>Ensure all websites follow best practices for security, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.</li><li>Maintain organized project files, documentation, and communication logs.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of professional web development experience, preferably with small business clients.</li><li>Strong proficiency in WordPress (required).</li><li>Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (preferred).</li><li>Proven background in SEO, including on-page optimization, keyword research, and SEO tools.</li><li>Experience in digital marketing or website funnel optimization is a strong plus.</li><li>Working knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.</li><li>Strong organizational habits and ability to manage multiple projects at once.</li><li>Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience designing conversion-focused landing pages.</li><li>Familiarity with branding, user experience (UX) principles, and basic graphic design.</li><li>Knowledge of CRM integrations and basic automation workflows.</li><li>Ability to create SEO-friendly content (a plus but not required).</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience.</li><li>Benefits, Health, Dental, Life, 401K</li><li>Opportunity to work with diverse small business clients across the country.</li><li>Stable, long-term position within a rapidly growing organization.</li><li>Professional development and growth opportunities.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Web development: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Lakeland, FL 33803 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
