Position Overview
Ames Golf &amp; Country Club is seeking a professional and service-driven Server/Bartender to deliver exceptional dining and beverage service in an upscale, private club environment. This dual-role position requires a hospitality professional who values consistency, discretion, and personalized service while upholding the traditions and standards of a member-focused club.
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide elevated food and beverage service to club members and their guests</li><li>
Serve as both a dining room server and bartender based on operational needs</li><li>
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards</li><li>
Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely, polished service</li><li>
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, daily specials, wines, spirits, and classic cocktails</li><li>
Anticipate member preferences and deliver personalized, attentive service</li><li>
Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold private club service etiquette</li><li>
Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and club policies</li><li>
Accurately process orders, payments, and member charges using the POS system</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and bar areas at all times</li><li>
Assist with service for banquets, tournaments, and special club events</li><li>
Collaborate effectively with culinary staff, servers, bartenders, and management</li></ul>

Requirements:

Polished appearance, professionalism, and discretion</li><li>
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-service environment</li><li>
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented</li><li>
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs</li><li>
Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service</li></ul>
