Job Title: Junior AdvocateLocation: Mumbai Firm: Amicus Lex &amp; AssociatesRole OverviewWe are looking to hire a Junior Advocate to support our real estate, regulatory, and litigation practice. The role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented advocate who is keen to build a strong foundation in real estate law, due diligence, documentation, and dispute resolution, while working closely with senior lawyers and partners.Key Responsibilities1. Real Estate &amp; Transaction Support<ul><li>Assist in title and legal due diligence of properties, including review of title documents, agreements, conveyance deeds, and revenue records</li><li>Prepare due diligence reports, title notes, and risk summaries under supervision</li><li>Assist in drafting, vetting, and reviewing real estate documents such as:</li><li>Agreements for Sale</li><li>Development Agreements</li><li>Redevelopment Agreements</li><li>Leave &amp; License Agreements</li><li>MOUs, NDAs, and ancillary documents</li><li>Support senior advocates in transaction structuring and closing processes</li></ul>2. Redevelopment &amp; Society Matters<ul><li>Assist in matters relating to society redevelopment, including documentation, consent processes, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Coordinate with societies, developers, and consultants for information and document collation</li><li>Maintain checklists and timelines for redevelopment-related compliance</li></ul>3. Litigation &amp; Regulatory Work<ul><li>Assist in real estate litigation before Civil Courts, High Court, RERA, and Appellate Authorities</li><li>Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, replies, and written submissions</li><li>Conduct legal research and prepare case notes and briefs</li><li>Attend court hearings, take notes, and assist with case strategy discussions</li></ul>4. Research &amp; Advisory<ul><li>Conduct legal research on property laws, RERA, stamp duty, registration, redevelopment regulations, and allied statutes</li><li>Assist in drafting legal opinions and advisory notes</li><li>Stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes affecting real estate</li></ul>5. Client &amp; Office Coordination<ul><li>Assist in client meetings and calls under guidance</li><li>Coordinate with government offices, sub-registrar offices, courts, and external consultants</li><li>Maintain case files, documentation, and internal trackers</li><li>Ensure adherence to internal processes and timelines</li></ul>Eligibility &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>LL.B. degree from a recognized university</li><li>Registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra &amp; Goa</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of PQE (freshers with internships in real estate or litigation will be considered)</li><li>Strong drafting and legal research skills</li><li>Familiarity with real estate documentation and court procedures is preferred</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Attributes<ul><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Willingness to learn and handle responsibility</li><li>Good communication and drafting skills</li><li>Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments</li><li>Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per monthLanguage:<ul><li>Marathi (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
