</ul>About the Role 
 
Hello, Classroom Nurses! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Classroom Nurse in Fayetteville, GA. In this role, you&rsquo;ll play a critical part in consulting with and providing training for teachers and staff concerning various medical conditions and delegated medical procedures; in addition to developing health care plans and providing treatment as ordered by a physician to eligible students with disabilities according to IEP recommendations

</ul>What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Provide direct nursing services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Health Care Plans</li>
<li>Assist in developing and implementing health care plans for students with chronic health conditions and special medical needs</li>
<li>Monitor student health status, including restrictive diets and ongoing treatment plans as directed by physicians</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and district policies</li>
<li>Collaborate with nurses, physicians, school staff, and families to support student health and educational access</li>
<li>Participate in Student Support Teams, IEP meetings, and provide health-related training to staff and students as needed</li>
<li>Support students with physical needs, including lifting, positioning, transferring, and accompanying students on transportation when required</li>
<li>Communicate health updates and concerns promptly while providing high-quality, student-centered care</li>
</ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For
<ul><li>Valid State of Georgia licensure as a registered nurse</li>
<li>Nationally recognized Health Care Providers CPR AED certification</li>
<li>One (1) year patient care or school clinic experience, including but not limited to administration of medications, health assessments and use of basic computer applications.</li>
<li>Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Pediatric nursing experience preferred, not required</li>
