We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 2&ndash;3 years of accounting experience to support daily financial operations, reporting, and month-end close activities. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and being part of a supportive and collaborative accounting team.
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">What You&rsquo;ll Do</h3><ul>
<li>Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue
</li><li>Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and assist with accounts payable
</li><li>Prepare sales and expense reports for management
</li><li>Support pricing, margin, and cost analysis
</li><li>Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
</li><li>Process payroll and sales commission
</li><li>Help ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
</li><li>Assist in budgeting and forecasting
</li><li>Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and purchasing
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3><ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
</li><li>2&ndash;3 years of accounting experience, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or retail
</li><li>Understanding of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold
</li><li>Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
</li><li>Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
</li><li>High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Nice to Have</h3><ul>
<li>Experience with high-volume transactions
</li><li>Knowledge of inventory costing methods such as FIFO or weighted average
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Compensation</h3>
$25.00 &ndash; $28.00 per hour</div>
