We are currently seeking to employ a Maintenance Technician to join our exceptional team, providing services at our clients corporate offices in Milton Keynes. You will maintain the premises to a high level by undertaking electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fabric duties, including general handyperson works.
SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in the following areas:<ul><li>
Electrical 18th Edition or Electrotechnical services</li><li>
Degree-qualified (BEng/BSc or above) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline</li><li>
Experience using BMS and CAFM/CMMS systems</li><li>
Mechanical NVQ /C&amp;G in a mechanical /electrical/ventilation discipline</li><li>
HETAS/BPEC/OFTEC certification</li><li>
IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate</li><li>
Permitting systems experience</li><li>
EFAW Trained</li><li>
Flexibility to meet the needs of the businesses</li></ul>
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 40 hours per week, with flexibility required for out of hours overtime work at an annual salary of &pound;44,400.00 which includes call out pay of &pound;2,400.

Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection (and associated electrical/controls interfaces where applicable).</li><li>
Conduct regular inspections and performance assessments of mechanical equipment.</li><li>
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.</li><li>
Deliver PPM and reactive works, including structured fault finding and return-to-service activities.</li><li>
Complete relevant testing and inspection activities and ensure results/certification are recorded in line with site procedures.</li><li>
Support electrical controls tasks where required (e.g., wiring control panels and interfacing with BMS/controls contractors).</li><li>
Coordinate or undertake installation of containment and cabling as required for minor works, ensuring workmanship and compliance.</li><li>
Support site security and low-voltage systems where applicable (e.g., CCTV and access control installation/maintenance via approved procedures and vendors).</li><li>
Diagnose faults and carry out or supervise repairs and replacements.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li><li>
Monitor energy usage and recommend improvements for efficiency.</li><li>
Support capital projects and refurbishments involving mechanical systems.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance checks.</li><li>
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.</li><li>
Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff.</li></ul>
