Description of Task to be Performed:</b></div><div>
AnaVation is seeking a Configuration Management Lead responsible for maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), licensing, hardware and software inventory, and authoring and maintaining policy documentation detailing the SOPs for information assurance, configuration management, and computer network defense operations. This role supports the customer&rsquo;s IT service development, management, and sustainment while helping implement DevSecOps, ITIL, and Agile best practices in their GOTs software development process.</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Clearance:</b> Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph</li><li><b>
Education &amp; Years of Experience:</b> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field plus 5-7 years of Cyber Security/Operations support</li><li><b>
Certifications:</b> DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, Security+)</li><li><b>
Demonstrated Experience and Expertise:</b></li><li>
Documenting network schemas and cyber operation tool solutions.</li><li>
Leads the oversight of the Configuration Management process to ensure the integrity and security of IT systems, software, and infrastructure as well as federal regulations and agency polices.
</li><li>Co-leads in the establishment and maintenance of the CMDB to ensure accurate tracking of assets and configurations.
</li><li>Maintains and manages software libraries, licensing trackers, systems documentation repositories, and maintain hardware and software inventory and project management documentation to ensure adherence to federal procurement and licensing guidelines.

</li><li>Must demonstrate strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field plus 8+ years of Cyber Security/Operations support</li><li>

Extensive experience with infrastructure compliance and optimal operating capabilities</li><li>

Description of Task to be Performed:</b></div><div>
AnaVation is seeking a Sr. ISSO for our mission critical customer in Washington, DC. You will work as part of a fantastic team providing security compliance expertise on high priority projects. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:</div><ul><li>Developing, maintaining, and assessing Security Assessment &amp; Authorization (SA&amp;A) packages resulting in an authority to operate (ATO) for IT systems.</li><li>Creating and maintaining SSPs and supporting documentation in accordance with agency guidelines and directives. This includes writing implementation statements, creating supporting documentation (e.g., Contingency Plans, Incident Response Plans, Account Management Plans, etc.), and performing self-assessments, while working with system stakeholders.</li><li>Having in depth security knowledge and experience in managing the security of a system&rsquo;s accreditation boundary.</li><li>Develop, coordinate, test, and train personnel on Incident Response Plans and Contingency Plans.</li><li>Ensuring that information systems are accredited, maintain their ATO, and are being continuously monitored.</li><li>Performing risk assessments for government systems, to include cloud-based systems.</li><li>Performing security control assessments to include collecting supporting artifacts/evidence and interviewing system owner/owner representatives.</li><li>Having an in-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).</li><li>Maintaining and tracking system POA&amp;Ms.</li><li>Conducting vulnerability management and analysis.</li><li>Reviewing and analyzing government policy.</li><li>Taking ownership on various projects and efforts related to the items highlighted above.
</li><li>Improving on processes and procedures and making recommendations to improve the security posture of the agency's IT systems and applications.<br>

<div>This position requires full-time, on-site support at a customer location in Washington, DC.</div><div>
Candidates must be able to work on-site daily and reside within commuting distance by the start date.</div><div>

Ability to accurately manage complex workstreams, comprehend the application of the RMF, and understand the application of security controls across the interface, application, operating system, network, and database layers of modern information systems. Understand the applicable artifacts used as evidence to assess compliance.</li><li>
Experience with multiple tools providing security functions such as vulnerability management (e.g., Nessus), configuration management (e.g., BigFix, SCCM, ePO), endpoint protection (e.g., antivirus, ATP), data loss prevention, and intrusion detection software and hardware.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ability to evaluate data flows, network diagrams, and logical security boundaries.</li><li>
Familiarity with the use of data analysis tools, including the use of Microsoft Excel or PowerBI to combine data from multiple sources.</li></ul><div><b>

AnaVation is seeking an experienced SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) Engineer to provide support to a mission critical customer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of SIEM systems across multiple classification enclaves.</div><div></div><div><br>
Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li>Support the architecture, engineering, optimization, and sustainment of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms supporting defensive cyber operations, advanced threat detection, incident response, and compliance initiatives</li><li>Perform configuration, management and maintenance of network firewalls, security and encryption devices, including IDS, NAC and SIEM systems.</li><li>Integrate diverse log sources including firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, servers, network devices, security appliances, and cloud environments.</li><li>Optimize SIEM performance, storage architecture, data retention policies, and system scalability.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
This position is on site with the customer in Washington, DC and cannot be supported remotely.

6+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years focused on SIEM engineering in enterprise environments.</li><li>
Experience supporting federal government systems at multiple security levels, strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to provide technical support within a secure environment.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise SIEM platforms.</li><li>
Experience engineering and sustaining SIEM solutions in classified or air-gapped environments.</li><li>
Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and secure data transfer controls.</li><li>
Strong expertise in:</li><li>
Log normalization and parsing</li><li>
Advanced correlation rule development</li><li>
Threat detection engineering</li><li>
Network protocols and traffic analysis</li><li>
Windows and Linux security logging</li><li>
