ANAX Business Technology is seeking a &quot;Tier 1.5 - 2&quot; Network Technician to join our dynamic group of IT staff in the fast-paced SMB segment. Interested candidates will find ANAX's environment a perfect place to excel and experience a wide range of new technologies.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide first-class customer service to a wide variety of clients</li><li>Implement and manage the various components of SMB client networks from mice to SANs and everything in between</li><li>Troubleshoot unique and challenging technical issues</li><li>Maintain servers (virtual and physical) as well as backups, infrastructure and most importantly: client relationships</li></ul>Basic Requirements:<ul><li>A professional demeanor, clean appearance and a keen understanding of the term &ldquo;customer service&rdquo;</li><li>Problem solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Satisfactory written and verbal skills including the ability to communicate technical items to non-technical individuals</li><li>A minimum of one to two years providing technical support for PCs, servers, and/or network infrastructure including experience deploying and/or maintaining the following Microsoft technologies: Windows client OS', Windows Server OS' (User administration or better), Microsoft 365 (Mailbox administration or better)</li><li>An understanding of NAT, basic routing and experience with port forwarding on SMB routers/firewalls</li><li>Microsoft Certification or the ability to complete a certification within 90 days</li><li>Reliable transportation that can get anywhere from Sunrise Mountain to the Pahrump Valley and back again</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Any IT certification including (but not limited to) CompTia A+/Network+ (or higher) or MCP (or higher)</li><li>Experience with the Apple ecosystem &ndash; iPhone to iPad to iMac</li><li>Experience implementing and maintaining business-grade backup solutions</li><li>Experience with VMware products</li><li>Experience implementing and managing SIP-based phone systems</li><li>Experience with account management and client relations</li><li>Experience working with technology in the legal vertical</li><li>Experience in a customer service oriented position</li></ul>Compensation Package:Base annual salary range starting at $50,000 plus&hellip;<ul><li>Monthly bonuses up to $1,200</li><li>Monthly vehicle allowance of $345</li><li>401K match</li><li>Competitive health, vacation and sick time benefits</li><li>Reimbursement for approved technical certifications</li></ul>Our Hiring Process:During your journey to join our team you can expect the following few steps from resume to orientation:<ul><li>Step 1: Candidates apply with a resume on the job board.</li><li>Step 2: The candidates who rise to the top of the pack will be invited to participate in an online video interview.</li><li>Step 3: An online, skills-based assessment will be issued to qualified candidates.</li><li>Step 4: If we like what we see in the video interview &amp; assessment, the candidate will be contacted to join us for an in-person interview with key managers.</li><li>Step 5: Orientation and on-boarding.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>IT support: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Las Vegas, NV 89147 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Las Vegas, NV 89147
