ANAX Business Technology is seeking a "Tier 1.5 - 2" Network Technician to join our dynamic group of IT staff in the fast-paced SMB segment. Responsibilities:
- Provide first-class customer service to a wide variety of clients
- Implement and manage the various components of SMB client networks from mice to SANs and everything in between
- Troubleshoot unique and challenging technical issues
- Maintain servers (virtual and physical) as well as backups, infrastructure and most importantly: client relationships
Basic Requirements:
- A professional demeanor, clean appearance and a keen understanding of the term “customer service”
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Satisfactory written and verbal skills including the ability to communicate technical items to non-technical individuals
- A minimum of one to two years providing technical support for PCs, servers, and/or network infrastructure including experience deploying and/or maintaining the following Microsoft technologies: Windows client OS', Windows Server OS' (User administration or better), Microsoft 365 (Mailbox administration or better)
- An understanding of NAT, basic routing and experience with port forwarding on SMB routers/firewalls
- Microsoft Certification or the ability to complete a certification within 90 days
- Reliable transportation that can get anywhere from Sunrise Mountain to the Pahrump Valley and back again
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any IT certification including (but not limited to) CompTia A+/Network+ (or higher) or MCP (or higher)
- Experience with the Apple ecosystem – iPhone to iPad to iMac
- Experience implementing and maintaining business-grade backup solutions
- Experience with VMware products
- Experience implementing and managing SIP-based phone systems
- Experience with account management and client relations
- Experience working with technology in the legal vertical
- Experience in a customer service oriented position
Compensation Package:
Base annual salary range starting at $50,000 plus…
