Andersons Ltd are looking for a Delivery Driver/Yard Operative to join their well-established business in Carlisle on a permanent basis.About usDo you want to join a company who has been in business for over 135 years? The company started in Cumbria in 1888 as a timber yard and sawmill, and to this day supplying timber to both trade and public customers represents a sizeable part of our business.We are offering a full-time position working 42 hours per week Monday-Friday 8.00am &ndash; 5.00pm (4:30 on a Friday). Once trained, this will increase to 46 hours per week with the addition of Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm.Day-to-day responsibilities include:&middot; Picking and Packing&middot; Loading and unloading customer orders for delivery&middot; Receiving/unloading deliveries&middot; Manual handling&middot; Inventory controlHow will you be supported?You will be supported by an experienced team and the branch management team.Entry RequirementsPrevious driving experience and a valid forklift licence is preferred however full staff training will be given.
