This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment committed to excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform patient intake procedures, including recording medical histories and reconciling medications.</li><li>Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks, collecting specimens, and preparing patients for procedures.</li><li>Operate and maintain EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to accurately document patient encounters and medical information.</li><li>Support diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging and basic physiology assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.</li><li>Manage medical administrative duties including appointment scheduling, ICD coding for diagnoses, and verifying insurance information.</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for infection control and medical office regulations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical specialties is advantageous.</li><li>Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding processes.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.</li><li>Comfortable using EHR systems and performing clinical tasks related to outpatient care settings.
