Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including recording medical histories and reconciling medications.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks, collecting specimens, and preparing patients for procedures.
• Operate and maintain EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to accurately document patient encounters and medical information.
• Support diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging and basic physiology assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Manage medical administrative duties including appointment scheduling, ICD coding for diagnoses, and verifying insurance information.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for infection control and medical office regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical specialties is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
