Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our dynamic caf&eacute; team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, along with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to established recipes and standards.</li><li>Operate the Square systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and equipment.</li><li>Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling and preparation.</li><li>Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee supplies, pastries, and other caf&eacute; items.</li><li>Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality service.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellent service.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.</li><li>Familiarity with Square systems is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques in a caf&eacute; or retail environment.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.</li><li>A passion for the food industry and an eagerness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and products.
