Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our dynamic café team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, along with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Square systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling and preparation.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee supplies, pastries, and other café items.
• Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellent service.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Familiarity with Square systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques in a café or retail environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
