Job Title: Manager &ndash; Finance &amp; AccountsIndustry: Fa&ccedil;ade / Architectural Aluminium &amp; Glass / Construction / Engineering Reports To: Head &ndash; Finance &amp; Accounts / Managing DirectorPosition OverviewThe Manager &ndash; Finance &amp; Accounts is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all accounting and financial processes.This role involves project accounting, budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance, and cash flow management &mdash; critical to supporting the fa&ccedil;ade industry&rsquo;s project-based and manufacturing-driven business model.The position requires a strong understanding of both corporate finance and construction project finance, balancing hands-on accounting with analytical and managerial responsibilities.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Supervise and manage daily accounting operations across head office, fabrication unit, and project sites.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in line with IND-AS and Companies Act, 2013.</li><li>Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).</li><li>Review and reconcile general ledger, bank accounts, and project expense accounts.</li><li>Generate and analyse MIS reports for management decision-making.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Monthly closing by 5th working day.</li><li>MIS accuracy &ge; 99%.</li></ul>2. Budgeting &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Assist in preparing annual and project-specific budgets.</li><li>Track project-wise costs (materials, labour, subcontractors, logistics) and compare against budgets.</li><li>Analyse cost variances and support project teams in corrective action planning.</li><li>Prepare reports on material usage, project profitability, and cash flow projections.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Budget variance &le; 5%.</li><li>Project cost variance &le; 3%.</li></ul>3. Project Accounting<ul><li>Maintain project-specific accounts in coordination with project managers and procurement teams.</li><li>Record and track progress billing, retention, and client payments as per contract terms.</li><li>Monitor subcontractor and supplier billing, verification, and payment.</li><li>Ensure all project-related financial data is updated in ERP/Tally on time.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Billing accuracy &ge; 98%.</li><li>Timely client invoicing within 3 working days of milestone completion.</li></ul>4. Cash Flow &amp; Working Capital Management<ul><li>Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow statements and forecasts.</li><li>Manage collections, follow up with clients for outstanding payments, and support receivables management.</li><li>Plan vendor and subcontractor payments based on project cash flow.</li><li>Maintain efficient working capital cycles by balancing inflows and outflows.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Average debtor days &le; 60.</li><li>Forecast accuracy &ge; 95%.</li></ul>5. Taxation &amp; Statutory Compliance<ul><li>Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC returns.</li><li>Handle statutory, internal, and tax audits.</li><li>Maintain compliance with PF, ESIC, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, and other applicable laws.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants and authorities for statutory matters and assessments.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Zero non-compliance findings.</li><li>100% statutory filings completed before due dates.</li></ul>6. Vendor &amp; Procurement Finance<ul><li>Verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, and GRNs for accuracy and approvals.</li><li>Track outstanding vendor payments and ensure timely disbursement based on approved budgets.</li><li>Support procurement in financial due diligence and vendor account reconciliation.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Vendor payment cycle &le; 45 days.</li><li>Vendor reconciliation accuracy &ge; 98%.</li></ul>7. Audit &amp; Internal Controls<ul><li>Implement and monitor internal controls across accounting, procurement, and project operations.</li><li>Ensure documentation completeness for all transactions and payments.</li><li>Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>Zero critical internal audit observations.</li><li>100% control compliance.</li></ul>8. Team Management &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Lead and supervise the accounts team at HO, factory, and site offices.</li><li>Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to junior accountants.</li><li>Foster coordination with project managers, procurement, HR, and operations teams for smooth information flow.</li></ul>KPIs:<ul><li>100% adherence to reporting timelines.</li><li>Team performance appraisals completed on time.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA (Finance) / M.Com.</li><li>Experience: 8&ndash;15 years of experience in Finance &amp; Accounts, with at least 3&ndash;5 years in a managerial role within fa&ccedil;ade, construction, EPC, or manufacturing sectors.</li><li>Strong understanding of project-based accounting, cost control, and statutory compliance.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / SAP / Oracle Finance.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Financial analysis and reporting</li><li>Project and cost accounting expertise</li><li>Knowledge of Indian taxation and compliance laws</li><li>Team leadership and communication</li><li>Vendor and client financial management</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP accounting systems</li><li>Strong attention to detail, ethics, and accuracy</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;20,519.12 - &#8377;84,168.61 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In personSpeak with the employer +91 7702725447
