We are seeking a full-time back office Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our busy, private, cardiology practice located near Good Samaritan Hospital.Duties include, but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals, initiating telehealth visits, reconciling medications, performing EKGs and Treadmills, placing cardiac monitors, refilling medications and communicating with physicians, patients and other healthcare provider offices.A high school diploma or equivalent as well as completion of an accredited MA or LVN, program is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical office setting, hands-on experience with electronic medical records, knowledge of medical terminology, a professional attitude and appearance, excellent clinical decision making, and a desire to work as part of a team. Prior cardiology experience is a plus. This is a thriving, fast-paced office and the ability to stay organized and prioritize while working meticulously is a must. Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
