Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Tender/Bid Manager to drive our participation in government EPC contracts for solar parks and large utility-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant government tenders, analyzing requirements, and preparing competitive bids to secure contracts. This is a strategic role, pivotal to the growth and success of our solar EPC business.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Project &amp; Tender Identification</li><li>Proactively track and identify new government solar project opportunities across portals and tender databases.</li><li>Build a network with key stakeholders and government agencies to stay updated on upcoming projects.</li><li>Tender Analysis &amp; Feasibility</li><li>Review and interpret tender documents (RFPs, RFQs), technical specifications, and commercial terms.</li><li>Assess project feasibility in terms of compliance, risk, and profitability together with engineering and commercial teams.</li><li>Bid Preparation &amp; Submission</li><li>Lead and coordinate the overall bid process involving cross-functional teams (design, procurement, finance, legal).</li><li>Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals compliant with government requirements.</li><li>Oversee documentation, compilation, and timely submission of all bid packages.</li><li>Stakeholder Communication</li><li>Liaise with government bodies, consultants, partners, and subcontractors to clarify requirements and secure supporting documents.</li><li>Respond to queries, conduct pre-bid meetings, and ensure smooth communication throughout the process.</li><li>Post-Bid Process</li><li>Support negotiations, provide clarifications, and submit additional documentation as required post-submission.</li><li>Analyze outcomes and feedback from tenders to optimize future bidding strategies.</li><li>Market &amp; Compliance Insight</li><li>Monitor government policies, regulatory updates, and industry trends relevant to solar and renewable EPC projects.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Educational Qualification:</li><li>B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification in related engineering fields (e.g., Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy Engineering).</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum 5 years proven experience in solar project bidding and tendering, specifically for government EPC contracts.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>In-depth understanding of government procurement procedures, tendering norms, and technical review of solar project documents.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, project management, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), and familiarity with project/bid management tools and portals.</li><li>Ability to coordinate diverse teams and deliver under strict deadlines.</li><li>Desirable:</li><li>Minimum 5 Year experience in winning large government solar EPC tenders.</li><li>Postgraduate qualification (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent) will be an advantage.</li></ul>CompensationAttractive salary and performance incentives commensurate with experience.To apply, please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining relevant experience in solar project tendering and bidding to sureshchoudhary@apmpower.com.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;40,000.00 - &#8377;90,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
