Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charity who are looking for a Alcohol Recovery Worker, within your role you will be contributing to the transformation of lives within a leading charitable organisation in Colchester on a rolling contract basis. As a dedicated Recovery Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing compassionate care and structured support to individuals striving to overcome addiction. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe and nurturing environment, enabling service users to regain control of their lives and embark on a path to recovery. The working hours for this role are Mon-Fri 9-5 dependant on what your preference is. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by alcohol misuse. In order to be considered you will need to have a proven track record of working in Recovery Worker Posts. Key responsibilities include: <ul> <li>Conducting assessments to identify service users' needs and goals.</li> <li>Developing and implementing personalised recovery plans.</li> <li>Facilitating group sessions and one-to-one support.</li> <li>Collaborating with healthcare professionals and external agencies.</li> <li>Maintaining accurate and confidential records.</li> <li>Covering front of house taking referrals,</li> <li>Creating patient records and booking assessments.</li> <li>Completing assessments with clients face to face,</li> <li>Complete care plans risk assessments</li> </ul> Candidates must demonstrate: <ul> <li>Experience in alcohol misuse or related field.</li> <li>A non-judgmental and empathetic approach.</li> <li>Strong organisational and time-management skills.</li> </ul> In return, you will receive: <ul> <li>A competitive hourly rate ( 19.50 - 20.57) per hour.</li> <li>Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.</li> <li>The chance to make a significant impact in the community.</li> <li>Continuous professional development and support.</li> </ul> If you are interested please hit apply now or contact the office directly!
