Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Bahrain and KSA accounting standards.</li><li>Oversee cost accounting and project-based financial tracking for ongoing contracts.</li><li>Handle VAT filing, and other statutory compliance requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies for reporting and compliance.</li><li>Review and approve journal entries, expense reports, and reconciliations.</li><li>Monitor cash flow, forecast budgets, and support management with financial analysis.</li><li>Maintain and improve internal control systems and accounting processes.</li><li>Manage Accounts Payable (AP): review, approve, and process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate supplier records.</li><li>Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, follow up on collections, and reconcile customer accounts.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction or contracting industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Bahrain &amp; KSA VAT laws, labor regulations, and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo experience is an advantage).</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Opportunity to be part of a growing and reputable contracting company.</li><li>Collaborative and professional work environment.</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li></ul>How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV to hr@agagulf.com with the subject line &ldquo;Chief Accountant &ndash; Bahrain&rdquo;.Job Type: Full-time

RESPONSIBLE FORResponsible for helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company's finances. They are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>To achieve the vision statement of the company by doing all that is needed to meet the vision</li><li>perform data analysis and advise senior managers on profit-maximizing ideas</li><li>Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.</li><li>Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information</li><li>Reporting to Finance Manager and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted</li><li>Manage all accounting transactions</li><li>Publish financial statements in time</li><li>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Ensure timely bank payments and reconciliations</li><li>Compute taxes and prepare tax returns</li><li>Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements entries </li><li>Audit financial transactions and documents</li><li>Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary</li><li>Comply with financial policies and regulations</li><li>Prepare invoices, statement of account, and all other required by management.</li><li>Follow up for payment and prepare receipt as needed.</li><li>Help and participate in yearly financial audit.</li><li>Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.</li><li>Submit reports for the activities to the Management</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's in accounting.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>At least 5 - 10 years on accounting of construction field who can join immediately</li><li>Experience in ERP software</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
