We’re Hiring: Draftsman – Fabric & Steel

Gulf Shade W.L.L is looking for an experienced Draftsman specializing in Fabric & Steel to join our team in Bahrain. If you have strong experience in design development, concept drawings, and fabrication drawings, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts based on project requirements and client specifications
• Produce shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
• Review and update drawings during project execution
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions

Qualifications

1.Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and other relevant design programs.

2.Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction processes, and design standards.

3.Attention to detail, accuracy in technical drawings, and the ability to work within project timelines.

4.Problem-solving skills and capability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project teams.

5.Background or previous experience in tensile fabric engineering or construction is an advantage.

6.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

7.Ability to adapt to new software and technologies used in tensile fabric structure design.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in steel or fabric fabrication
• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures and BIM/Revit
• Experience in concept design, structural steel detailing, and fabrication drawings
• Strong understanding of Steel & Fabric fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Candidates currently available in Bahrain only preferred
