Surgical &amp; Specialty Services CoordinatorLocations: Snoqualmie, North Bend, and Sammamish (in-person role, work location varies) Pay: $25&ndash;$31/hour, depending on experience and skillsAbout the Role Arbor Eyecare is looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented team player to coordinate cataract surgery and support our growing specialty programs &mdash; including IPL, myopia management, and specialty contact lenses.This unique role blends patient education and counseling with scheduling, insurance, and billing coordination. It&rsquo;s ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, streamlining systems, and finding better ways to get things done.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate cataract and MIGS surgeries, including patient communication, paperwork, and insurance.</li><li>Manage IPL, myopia, and specialty contact lens scheduling and patient follow-up.</li><li>Discuss costs and payment options with patients; collect payments and assist with financial aspects.</li><li>Track cases, payments, and follow-ups using organized spreadsheets or dashboards.</li><li>Collaborate with all departments.</li><li>Train and support other team members in scheduling, education, and payment processes to build redundancy and team capacity.</li><li>Use tools like Teams, SignNow, Weave, Carecredit and scheduling software to stay efficient and connected.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Strong computer and organizational skills.</li><li>Friendly, confident communicator who helps patients feel at ease.</li><li>Comfortable discussing financial topics and collecting payments.</li><li>Curious learner who adapts quickly and enjoys improving processes.</li><li>Works well across departments and keeps things running smoothly.</li><li>2+ years&rsquo; experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or a medical office preferred.</li><li>Must be available to work onsite at all Arbor locations.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Full-time, in-person position</li><li>Health, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement plan</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>&ldquo;While we understand circumstances can change, this position involves a substantial investment in training.
