Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time, ensuring that medical records are complete and up-to-date. This role is essential in enhancing the efficiency of medical professionals, allowing them to focus more on patient care. A strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is crucial for success in this position.Responsibilities<ul><li>Accurately transcribe patient encounters during examinations and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR) system.</li><li>Document medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans as directed by healthcare providers.</li><li>Ensure that all medical documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.</li><li>Assist in maintaining organized medical records and ensure timely updates to patient files.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve workflow and enhance patient care delivery.</li><li>Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to ensure precise documentation.</li><li>Support the medical office in various administrative tasks as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in medical documentation practices, with experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.</li><li>Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.</li><li>Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus but not required.</li></ul>Join our team as a Medical Scribe and contribute to improving patient care through accurate documentation and support for our healthcare providers!Pay: $17.00 - $27.50 per hourWork Location: In person
