Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to handle various towing equipment safely and efficiently.Duties<ul><li>Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to transport vehicles safely.</li><li>Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.</li><li>Load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks while ensuring safety protocols are followed.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during roadside assistance calls.</li><li>Manage conflicts professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction even in challenging situations.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance checks on tow trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly.</li><li>Utilize manual transmission skills when operating various types of vehicles.</li><li>Assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary, leveraging mechanic experience to ensure safe transportation of vehicles.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of services provided and vehicle conditions.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair are essential.</li><li>Proficiency in operating tow trucks and forklifts safely.</li><li>Excellent conflict management skills to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.</li><li>Ability to perform automotive diagnostics and understand vehicle mechanics.</li><li>Previous experience in driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles, is a plus.</li><li>Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the road.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients in distressing situations.
