Staff AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our dynamic, in-office finance team. In this role, you will support core accounting functions, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and help drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and experience with accounting systems. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team that values communication and positivity&mdash;while offering mentorship and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Responsibilities:&middot; Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger&middot; Support month-end and year-end close processes&middot; Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies&middot; Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records&middot; Manage credit card disputes and chargebacks&middot; Maintain and track the company&rsquo;s fixed asset register&middot; Assist with accounts receivable functions, including daily invoices, as needed&middot; Assist with accounts payable processes and vendor reconciliation, as needed&middot; Maintain organized filing and scanning procedures for financial documents&middot; Perform data entry and maintain accounting systems&middot; Support internal and external audit requests&middot; Assist the Accounting Manager with daily tasks and special projectsRequired Skills/Abilities&middot; BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent.&middot; 3-5 years of prior experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping capacity.&middot; Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, with advanced/expert Excel skills.&middot; Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)&middot; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.&middot; Capability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow up effectively.&middot; Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
