Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscaping and maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. If you enjoy working with your hands and have a keen eye for detail, this position may be the perfect fit for you.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.</li><li>Assist in planting, cultivating, and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.</li><li>Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.</li><li>Participate in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.</li><li>Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs.</li><li>Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain access to properties.</li><li>Follow safety protocols while operating excavators and other heavy machinery.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of job sites by properly disposing of debris and waste materials.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery.</li><li>Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, horticulture principles, and gardening skills.</li><li>Experience in tree care including tree trimming and removal is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction tasks.</li><li>A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
