Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist in planting, cultivating, and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Participate in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain access to properties.
• Follow safety protocols while operating excavators and other heavy machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness of job sites by properly disposing of debris and waste materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, horticulture principles, and gardening skills.
• Experience in tree care including tree trimming and removal is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction tasks.
