Duties

• Safely operate bucket trucks, cranes, and rigging equipment to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal projects.
• Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and planning landscape projects.
• Conduct lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping tasks to improve site aesthetics.
• Assist with planting, staking, and supporting trees to promote healthy growth.
• Perform routine inspections of trees and landscapes to identify hazards or disease, recommending appropriate care measures.
• Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, pruning tools, and safety gear to ensure operational readiness.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to protect yourself and team members.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred; a strong desire to grow your skills in arboriculture is essential.
• Knowledge of rigging techniques for safely lowering large branches or trees.
• Ability to operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts confidently and safely.
• Familiarity with GIS technology for landscape planning is a plus.
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening enhances your suitability for this role.
• Strong understanding of tree trimming practices and overall tree health management.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
