<div></div><div><b>Position Summary:</b></div>
<div>Arthur Center is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Transporter to join our Behavioral Health Clinic team. In this role, you will play a direct part in making sure our patients get where they need to go safely and on time. Whether transporting individuals to medical appointments or coordinating with our team in time-sensitive situations, you will be a trusted part of the care experience. <div></div><div><b>Key Tasks and Responsibilities</b></div>
<div>Patient Transportation &amp; Safety</div>
<ul><li>Transport patients to medical appointments or emergency departments as instructed.</li>
<li>Ensure patient safety during transport by confirming proper seat belt use and appropriate child safety seat placement based on patient age.</li>
<li>Maintain first aid and safety equipment in the transport vehicle at all times.</li>
<li>Keep the transport vehicle clean and disinfected as needed.</li>
</ul><div>Vehicle Maintenance &amp; Inspections</div>
<ul><li>Conduct pre-trip safety inspections of the transport vehicle according to procedures outlined in the vehicle check-out binder.</li>
<li>Assist the property manager with transporting vehicles for preventative maintenance and repair.</li>
</ul><div>General Duties</div>
<ul><li>Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with patients, clinical staff, and colleagues.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Skills and Attributes:</b></div>
<ul><li>Safe, reliable driver with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>Trained or willing to be trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Non-violent Crisis Intervention.</li>
<li>Strong verbal communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor.</li>
<li>Team player who contributes to a positive, collaborative work environment.</li>
<li>Ability to provide CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention skills when needed.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Required Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Valid Class E or greater Missouri Driver's License required.</li>
<li>Demonstrated driving experience required; medical transportation experience preferred.</li>
