We specialize in high-quality commercial millwork and casework, with a reputation built on craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail.We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Purchasing Manager to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company and take ownership of a critical department in our production process.Job SummaryAs the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities related to the fabrication of commercial millwork. This includes managing a small team, handling vendor relationships, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and manage the Purchasing Department (team of 3, including manager)</li><li>Create and manage purchase orders for materials and services</li><li>Track the full purchasing cycle &mdash; from order placement to delivery &mdash; ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies</li><li>Source and evaluate vendors to ensure best pricing and quality</li><li>Negotiate pricing and contract terms for commodity and specialty items</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records</li><li>Monitor and maintain pricing schedules and vendor agreements</li><li>Stay informed about industry trends, products, and supplier offerings</li><li>Coordinate external services for the office (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, waste removal)</li><li>Provide general purchasing support to management and ownership</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, including team leadership</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment is required</li><li>Prior experience in millwork, cabinetry, or custom fabrication is highly preferred</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)</li><li>Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Positive, professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset</li><li>Degree in supply chain management, business, or finance is a plus</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Opportunity to join a stable and growing company</li><li>Collaborative work environment with room for growth</li><li>Hands-on role with real impact on company operations</li></ul>Artisan Display, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
