Artisan Display Inc. is a leading millwork fabricator serving the Philadelphia market. We specialize in high-quality commercial millwork and casework, with a reputation built on craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail.

We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Purchasing Manager to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company and take ownership of a critical department in our production process.

Job Summary

As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities related to the fabrication of commercial millwork. This includes managing a small team, handling vendor relationships, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Purchasing Department (team of 3, including manager)
• Create and manage purchase orders for materials and services
• Track the full purchasing cycle — from order placement to delivery — ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Source and evaluate vendors to ensure best pricing and quality
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms for commodity and specialty items
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records
• Monitor and maintain pricing schedules and vendor agreements
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and supplier offerings
• Coordinate external services for the office (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, waste removal)
• Provide general purchasing support to management and ownership

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, including team leadership
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Prior experience in millwork, cabinetry, or custom fabrication is highly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset
• Degree in supply chain management, business, or finance is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
